Webelotrax is proud to present a new full-length album from UK producer Halogen Star - Secrets In Motion II.
A sequel to their self-released 2021 project, Secrets In Motion II extrapolates on the original in both style and scope. The hearty 15-track journey delves into some truly dark places while retaining the classic Halogen Star exuberance. It's dreamy synthwave that gives way to nightmares on the fringes of hypnosis.
"Story wise, the album tells the fictional story of someone forever descending into a cave, getting lost, no contact to the outside world...
The opening track is a mix of "depression and negligence", track 2 is the descent, The True Phantasma is the uncertainty of whether the shadows you are seeing are your own or someone else's, Rising Of The Lights was named after an illness that used to exist, odd, but true.
As the album progresses, you notice a mix of dark and hopeful moments, the album closes with the feeling of unease, not breaking out of the horror vibe I was originally going for, as the closing track fades out into an echoey piano section, it's meant to give the feeling of, "oh... we're still here, after all we have done to try and get to a brighter place with little hope" -Halogen Star
